The kennels opened in April 2001 with two kennels to help out a local organisation because they had nowhere to place a dog with attitude. From that moment on we started to grow, funded entirely by our own finances and a lot of hard work my husband and I built another six kennels, we have now 36 all with lighting and heating for the winter months.
In this time we have relied on donation to help for the ongoing development of the rescue and the day to day running cost so we are definitely non profit-making. We still help other organisations who need a safe place for their dogs but in April 2006 we applied for charity status, in September we became a registered charity in our own right number 1116170 we are very proud of the rescue and the facilities provided but we could not have managed without the help of a very dedicated handful of volunteers.

Our ever expanding rescue now provides care for dogs / cats / birds / hens / ducks / geese / birds of prey /
Ponies and if we can’t provide a space for a pet we know a man who can, so call on us.

The Retirement Section.
Dogs whose owners have passed away or are too ill to care for them. Most of these dogs are 10+ years old. They are always happy to go a walk, perhaps you would consider sponsoring this section of kennels to help with food, vet bills, toys or a little of your time.
We thank you for your help in what ever way you can give it. With your help we can continue our work in animal welfare.

Good homes are always needed. All homes are checked in the animals Welfare.

We Home mainly in North Wales but are searching for home visitors in all areas to expand our homing services as we are registered nationally.

Small rescues can apply to affiliate; coming under our umbrella could make a difference

To help raise the funds required to provide the love and care our animals receive we have opened a shop in Rhyl our nearest town. Stocking donated goods we hope it will provide a source of income from the local population and the holiday makers.
