Where are we?
Llewerllyd Farm. Dyserth. Denbighshire. North Wales LL18 6BP. Based in a beautiful part of North Wales on the outskirts of Rhyl / Prestatyn nestling on the boundary of Dyserth a lovely little village that seem miles and miles away from the bustle of a seaside towns.

On part of a farm that is no longer farmed, we have 11 acres of land. The kennels indoors are in the old milking parlour which has been converted, the out side kennels are in the orchard. The dogs exercise areas are a very large free play area and a full fenced 5 acre field where the volunteers take them for games and walks there is also a stream for summertime dips. The memorial gardens where our beloved little friends who through terminal illness or old age are placed, each of these have a fruit tree or flowering shrub in their memory. As you look through our website you will begin to picture us and our work please read on and perhaps you may feel as moved and passionate about helping the animals in our care.

We are a small rescue and re-homing kennels, providing a safe sanctuary of shelter, food, veterinary care, rehabilitation and basic training with lots of love for pets that need a new home.

There are many reasons why their owners may not be able to keep them it could be because of illness, bereavement, changes in their circumstances. Sometimes they just don’t care & the pet is left to roam or thrown out.
Our aim is to try & re-home them, with care and consideration to the pet & the new owners.

We have a good working relationship with the authorities & other rescue organisations.

All the staff are voluntary & we are grateful for any donation large or small, monitory or in kind & practical help is always gratefully received.


We do not specify or suggest amounts, we are always grateful for voluntary donations and sponsorship payments of any amounts large or small. All moneys received are used 100% for the benefit of the animals.
